Scotch Plains Recreation Hosts 'Play in the Park'

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ - The Scotch Plains Recreation Department hosted a free evening of pop-up activities for the community on Wednesday, Aug. 14, at Jerseyland Park.

Games included basketball, soccer, corn hole, ladder ball, and table games. Additional activities such as Frisbee, hula-hoops, sidewalk chalk, Legos, and bubble wands were placed throughout the park.

Recreation staff assisted with arts and crafts underneath the picnic pavilion. The event was open to residents of all ages.
