Princeton, NJ – Childless cat ladies, who have gained a certain notoriety in recent weeks thanks to some too-clever-by-half politicians, may turn out in force at the Princeton Garden Theatre on Nassau Street on Saturday afternoon, August 17, to take in a big-screen compilation of funny cat videos that you normally only see on your computer or smartphone screen.

The event is the CatVideoFest 2024, a one-hour and 13-minute film compilation of what the Garden website calls "the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses."

It will be screened at 1:15 on Saturday and then again at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21.

CatVideoFest is only available in theaters, and raises money for cats in need through partnerships with local cat charities, animal welfare organizations, and shelters to best serve cats in the area.

Raising money for cats in need sounds like something that would appeal not only to childless cat ladies, but also cat ladies who are mothers and grandmothers, and cat-loving men and children and just people of any and all family ties. Do any of these "cat people" vote? The pollsters should weigh in.
