    Lots of Summer Fun Left in East Brunswick

    EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - As we approach the end of the summer, Recreation still has a very busy calendar of activities and events that are sure to delight residents!

    Brunswick the Bear’s Summer Bonanza continues with the Acoustic Concert Series tomorrow night (8/20/24), at the Municipal Complex at 7 pm. The TBPG Band is playing hits from the 60’s – 80’s. The final concert will be next Monday, August 26 featuring Bob Denson.

    Family Movie Night is this Wednesday, August 21 from 7:30 – 10pm at the Community Arts Center. In addition to watching SING 2, the night includes free s’mores, snacks, and crafts before and during the movie!

    The rescheduled Bark in the Park Night will take place on Sunday, August 25 from 5-7pm at the Dog Park, 440 Dunhams Corner Road! Bring your dog for some giveaways that includes free ice cream for both the Dog and Dog Owner!

    Don’t let the summer get away from you, without any more trips to Crystal Springs . Newly Added, Evening Swims on Thursday, August 29 and Friday, August 30 (each day we'll be open 4pm-8pm). Weekday Season Passes will be valid on 8/29 and 8/30.  Crystal Springs will be open through Labor Day.

    Don’t forget the always popular Drool in the Pool event the weekend after Crystal Springs closes. Dogs large and small are welcome to join in on the waterpark fun. See the flyer below for more info.

    On Saturday, September 7, the East Brunswick Arts Commission in conjunction with the Indian Cultural Society is hosting a Masala Bhangra Dance Party at the Community Arts Center with Sarina Jain. The Dance Party is sure to be a fun, family event with food trucks, crafts, and other activities. Check out this video to learn all about this great event! Click here to register .

    The start of the school year is around the corner, so for those teens in Grades 9-12, be sure to sign up for the East Brunswick Youth Council ! In addition to getting lots of community service hours by assisting at school and township events, there are plenty of social opportunities to take part in.

    As we move towards the Fall, the 10 th Annual East Brunswick Day is coming up quickly!  Join us as we celebrate all things East Brunswick on Sunday, October 6 from 12-4pm at the Community Arts Center. If your organization is interested in being part of the day, please complete the 10 th Annual East Brunswick Day Interest Form .

    Finally, the upcoming Fall Season means the return of lots of Recreation Programs for both children and adults. Registration for Fall programs will start on Monday, August 26. Check out the website (which will be updated by the end of the week) for the list of available fall programs.  Even though the programs are currently listed, you will not be able to register until the morning of August 26.

    While the weather is nice, take advantage of all the wonderful Township Parks and the amenities available for you between sport fields, walking trails, and the beauty of nature right here in East Brunswick!
