Join Councilman Espinosa for an 8-Mile Bike Ride Through Piscataway

PISCATAWAY, NJ – Explore Piscataway while getting some exercise and fresh air by bicycle. On Saturday, September 21, township residents are invited to join Councilman Dennis Espinosa on his first Piscataway Bike Tour.

Cyclists aged 13 and older will be able to ride an 8-mile route that starts on Stockton Street behind the YMCA at the Piscataway Community Center (YPCC), and follows through neighborhood streets to Johnson Park and back.

Younger children are welcome but must be carried securely on an adult's bike in an appropriate child's seat, bucket, trailer, or similar tag-along attachment.

Pre-registration is available online until 3:00 PM on Friday, September 20th. Onsite registration and check-in begin at 8 am on Saturday with the tour beginning promptly at 10 am.

Riders MUST sign a waiver and bring their own bikes and wear a helmet.

The tour will maintain a relaxed pace of 10 mph. Bike marshals and police officers will be on hand for safety, and two hydration stations will be setup along the route.
