Free Movie Night: Shrek in Nassau Park

SOMERSET, NJ - Franklin Township Councilwoman Shepa Uddin (Ward 2) invites residents to a free movie night featuring Shrek on Friday in Nassau Park on 595 Nassau Avenue.

The event starts at 8 p.m., and attendees can enjoy complimentary ice cream, hot dogs, and water while meeting elected officials. Everyone is welcome to bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the show.

"Let’s come together as a family to end summer on a sweet note and with hearts full of happiness and gratitude for the moments we’ve shared," Uddin told TAPinto. Did I mention there’s free ice cream? Who doesn’t love ice cream?

Assemblyman Joe Danielsen is also sponsoring the event. Residents can use this event as a great opportunity to meet elected officials and enjoy a fun-filled evening with their community.
