Singleton's Free Back-to-School Haircut Event Set for August 31

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Senator Troy Singleton is making sure the kids from the 7th Legislative District, including Bordentown and Fieldsboro, look good as they start the school year in September.

The Senator is hosting his annual Free Back to School Haircut event on Saturday, August 31 at Mogul's Barbershop in Cinnaminson from 8AM to 4PM. The annual event has been taking place since 2015.

"Having a fresh haircut is just as important as having new supplies on the first day of school. Looking good will give kids the confidence they need to start the school year successfully," said Singleton. "I am thankful to my friends at Moguls Barbershop for their continued partnership and appreciate them sharing their talent with the community."

Kids ages 12 and under can get free haircuts at the annual event. The children must have a valid ID from a school in the 7th Legislative District, which includes Bordentown City, Bordentown Township and Fieldsboro as well as Beverly, Burlington City, Burlington Township, Cinnaminson, Delanco, Delran, Edgewater Park, Florence, Moorestown, Mount Laurel, Palmyra, Riverside, Riverton and Willingboro.

The haircuts are free, but tips are not included.

Mogul's Barber Shop is located at 1821 Cinnaminson Avenue in Cinnaminson in the Circle Center shopping plaza.
