Free Community WaterFest Event Saturday at Von Neida Park

CAMDEN – WaterFest, a community event with family activities, will be held on Saturday, August 24, and sponsored by Camden-based New Jersey American Water.

Free outdoor activities and games, including the splash pad that was donated in 2017 by the American Water Charitable Foundation, will be at Von Neida Park at River Road and 29th Street. A city fire truck, game truck and a K9 police unit also will be featured.

The event goes from 9:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"WaterFest aims to educate and engage attendees of all ages about water services, environmental stewardship, conservation, water quality, and lead service line replacement," according to New Jersey American Water.
