The introduction of these courses aims to diversify the curriculum and better align it with current trends and student interests, enhancing engagement and preparing students for future endeavors, officials said. To support these changes, the school will implement several measures, including professional development for teachers through specialized training and workshops, integrated learning resources such as online tutorials and industry webinars, continuous feedback and assessment to monitor student progress, and real-world learning opportunities through partnerships with local businesses and digital agencies.

Courses like Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing will incorporate current trends, allowing students to work on actual campaigns and data analysis. True Crime and American History Through Film will use multimedia elements to cater to various learning styles. The Freshman Seminar will support students' transition to high school by focusing on academic skills, social-emotional support, and career exploration.

These new offerings are designed to equip students with critical 21st-century skills, enhance college readiness, and prepare them for future careers. The Freshman Seminar, in particular, will address academic and social challenges faced by new high school students, helping them build study skills, organization, and resilience.
