Child Stabbed in Paterson Said to Be in Stable Condition

PATERSON, NJ - A 4-year-old child is in stable condition after being stabbed multiple times in Paterson on Friday.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-in- Charge Isa Abbassi the incident took place at a home in the area of East 24th Street and 10th Avenue at approximately 4:05 pm.

Upon arrival at the scene police located the injured child who was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.
