Kenilworth's 2024 National Night Out: Food Donations for Local Pantry Requested

KENILWORTH, NJ – The Kenilworth Police Department recently made the following announcement regarding the upcoming National Night Out which will take place on Monday, August 26, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

"National Night Out (NNO) will be extending an invitation to the community to help our neighbors in need. We are asking for donations of canned, packaged, or nonperishable foods. All donations will support the St. Theresa’s food pantry. Join us in making a difference in our community! Donations can be dropped of at the designated collection point at NNO."

Taking place in the municipal parking lot on South 23rd and Boulevard, this free event will include various law enforcement expos, a children’s bounce house, an ice cream truck and more. "Fun and free night for the community, hope to see you there" the KPD posted to their social media page.

National Night Out is a nationwide event intended to bring together members of the community and law enforcement to build upon their current relationships and also foster new ones.
