The homeowners reported hearing suspicious noises that prompted them to check outside. As they were peering through their window, they were alarmed to see two vehicles parked at the edge of their driveway. They noticed at least two men on their property carrying flashlights.

The intruders fled the scene when they realized they had been spotted by the residents. Upon inspection, the homeowners discovered the rear door wide open. Further investigation revealed that a wallet and a backpack, which had been left on the dining room table, were missing.
