DOYLESTOWN, PA—Here's a look at road closings and slowdowns in the Doylestown area for the week of Aug. 25, 2024.
In Bedminster and Tinicum townships, Dark Hollow Road between Route 32/River Road and Route 413/Durham Road will be closed 24/7 from Aug. 5 through Oct. 4, 2024. Motorists will be directed to use Route 413/Durham Road, Point Pleasant Pike and Route 32/River Road.
In Bedminster Township, Route 313/South Dublin Pike will have a lane closure between High Street and Chelfield Road for a pole installation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from Aug. 26 through Aug. 30, 2024.
In Buckingham Township, Cold Spring Creamery Road North between Filly Place and Stony Lane will have a single-lane closure for a gas line installation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from July 29 through Aug. 31, 2024.
In Buckingham and Solebury townships, Route 263/Upper York Road between Lower York Road and Route 32/River Road will have a periodic road closure for a pipe replacement from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from Aug. 20 through Aug. 27, 2024.
In Doylestown Township, New Britain Road between Easton Road and Rolling Hill Boulevard will have a single-lane closure 24/7. The work is scheduled to go through the summer of 2024.
NEW THIS WEEK: In Durham and Nockamixon townships, Route 611/Easton Road between Brenda’s Way and Delaware Road will have a periodic lane closure for chip sealing from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from Aug. 26 through Aug. 30, 2024.
In Hilltown Township, Callowhill Road between Perkasie Road and West Main Street will have a full closure with a detour for a bridge replacement. The work is scheduled to go from April 15 through Nov. 4, 2024.
In Hilltown and New Britain townships, Hilltown Pike between Township Line Road and Route 309/Bethlehem Pike will have a lane shift for overhead work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Aug. 30, 3024.
In Lower Makefield and Newtown townships, Lindenhurst Road between Route 332/Newtown Bypass and Route 523/Washington Crossing Boulevard will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from May 20 through Sept. 30, 2024. Motorists will be directed to use Route 332/Newtown Bypass, Durham Road and Route 532/Washington Crossing Boulevard. Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.
In Lower Makefield Township, Big Oak Road between West Trenton Avenue and Pine Grove Road will have a weekday lane closure for HFT application from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from Aug. 19 through mid-October 2024.
In Lower Makefield Township, Stony Hill Road between Township Line Road and Yardley Langhorne Road will have single-lane closures for bridge upgrades from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from Aug. 26 through Aug. 29, 2024.
In Lower Southampton Township, Route 132/Street Road between Central Avenue and Route 532/Bustleton Pike will have a partial lane restriction for utility work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from July 30 through Sept. 20, 2024.
In Middletown Township, Langhorne-Yardley Road at the intersection of Bridgetown Pike and Woodbourne Road will have periodic lane closures in both directions for construction of a roundabout. In Middletown Township, Route 213/Old Lincoln Highway between South Buckstown Road and Wheeler Way will have periodic lane closures for paving and road repair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Sept. 22, 2024.
NEW THIS WEEK: In Middletown Township, U.S. 1 Business/Old Lincoln Highway between Woodbourne Road and South Buckstown Road will have a partial lane restriction for utility maintenance from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from Aug. 28 through Oct. 23, 2024.
In Middletown Township, Woodbourne Road between Garden Court and Wellington Drive will have a partial lane restriction for utility maintenance from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from Aug. 28 through Oct. 9, 2024.
NEW THIS WEEK: In Middletown Township, Langhorne Yardley Road between Bridgetown Pike and Woodbourne Road will have a single-lane closure for utility maintenance from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from Sept. 1 through Dec. 1, 2024.
In Montgomery Township, the area around the five-point intersection at Route 309/Bethlehem Pike, Route 463/Horsham Road/Cowpath Road and Business U.S. 202/Doylestown Road will have alternating lane closures and temporary traffic patterns for utility work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is part of a long-term project that will make major intersection improvements. In New Britain Township, New Galena Road between Hilltown Pike and Route 152 will have a lane shift for overhead utility work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from June 10 through Aug. 30, 2024.
In New Britain Township, Route 152/North Limekiln Pike between Lindenfield Parkway and Newville Road will have a lane shift for utility replacement from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from June 10 through Oct. 30, 2024.
NEW THIS WEEK: In East Rockhill, Haycock and Nockamixon townships, Route 563/Mountain View Road between Route 313/Dublin Pike and Route 412/Durham Road will have a periodic lane closure for seal coating from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from Aug. 26 through Aug. 30, 2024.
In Plumstead Township, Route 413 North/Durham Road between Stump Road and Township Line Road will have a single-lane closure for a gas line installation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from July 29 through Aug. 31, 2024.
In Solebury Township, Route 32/River Road between Phillips Mill Road and Route 263/Upper York Road will have a full closure with a detour for paving from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from Aug. 27 through Sept. 10, 2024.
In Upper Makefield Township, Lurgan Road between Eagle Road and Street Road will be closed 24/7 to replace a bridge over a branch of the Pidcock Creek. The work is scheduled to go from July 15 through late November 2024. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 32/River Road, Route 232/Windy Bush Road and Street Road.
NEW THIS WEEK: In Warminster Township, County Line Road between Route 332/Jacksonville Road and Madison Avenue will have a weekday lane closure for stormwater replacement from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from Aug. 26 through late September 2024.
