ASBURY PARK, NJ - The City Council meeting originally scheduled for August 28th has been canceled, as confirmed by city officials. Council meetings typically take place on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month, but it's not uncommon for one or two meetings to be canceled during the summer months as the council adjusts its schedule to accommodate seasonal activities and vacations.

The next City Council meeting is now set to take place on Wednesday, September 11th. Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars and attend the upcoming session, where regular city business will resume. The cancelation reflects a routine adjustment, with no pressing issues on the agenda requiring immediate attention before the September meeting.

I been living here for 48 years and never seen one of these council members in our community, or that mayor. I will be running in the next election.
