Grant Webinar Alert: House sof Worship, Non-Profits can Learn About Protective Program

HACKENSACK, NJ - Area houses of worship and non-profits are invited to attend a virtual webinar to vie for a non-profit security grant program.

Hosted by Governor Murphy's Office of Labor Relations & Stakeholders, the webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 6 p.m., in conjunction with the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security.

In the FY2025 Budget, Governor Murphy increased funding for this program. The state government entity will present an in-depth overview of the competitive grant program which provides funding to eligible nonprofit organizations - primarily Houses of Worship - across New Jersey at the greatest risk of terrorist attacks; the funding available is for Security Personnel and Target Hardening Equipment. Post the presentation, questions from participants will be answered live.
