Free Parking in Glen Rock Public Lots Through Sept. 2

GLEN ROCK, NJ - In conjunction with New Jersey Transit Free Fares week, the borough has waived parking fees in Borough lots through Monday, September 2nd.

According to NjTransit.com, "Governor Murphy has announced a transit fare holiday for all customers from August 26 through September 2, 2024.

"During this period, fares will be waived for all NJ TRANSIT modes of transportation, and free rides will be offered across the NJ TRANSIT system as a “Thank you” to the hundreds of thousands of loyal customers who depend on public transit.

"Customers are not required to purchase or present tickets to travel during this period. Tickets will be required for travel again beginning September 3, 2024.

"Monthly pass holders who have already purchased an August pass, valid through the end of the month, will automatically receive a 25% discount on their September monthly pass purchase through the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App, at Ticket Vending Machines or ticket windows."
