    New Jerseyans Cheat … A Lot, Survey Says

    New Jersey respondents to a new online survey say 82% of them cheated in school on tests and homework, and 64% admit to cheating at card games.

    NEW JERSEY — People here are apparently prone to cheat.

    We do it in school. We do it playing cards. We do it in stores. So many New Jerseyans anonymously fessed up for a quirky new survey that the Garden State now ranks #1 in America for the most people willing to bend the rules.

    This is according to Solitaire Bliss , an online Tel Aviv-based gaming company, that recently released its 2024 “States With the Most Cheaters” survey.

    New Jersey rocketed into first place from the 2023 Solitaire Bliss survey when our state ranked 12th in the nation.

    The latest survey shows New Jersey earned “a cheater score” of 98.8 out of 100, besting wrongdoers in Nevada, Colorado. Iowa and Tennessee.

    Here’s how New Jersey survey-respondents say they cheat most:
    ● 82% cheated in school
    ● 76% cheat on their diet, health
    ● 64% cheat playing cards
    ● 57% cheat at multiplayer games
    ● 51% cut in lines at movies, other events
    ● 47% alter their social media photos
    ● 42% switch price tags in stores

    Fewer people from New Jersey and anywhere else confessed to cheating on their spouses or romantic partners (32.08% nationwide); and just 9.5% of nationwide survey-respondents admitted to cheating on taxes. Hmm ...
