WHRHS Football: Watchung Hills Tops Moorestown in 2024 Season Opener, 31-7

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Watchung Hills football opened the 2024 season with a 31-7 win at Moorestown.

Mason Kelly threw two touchdown passes, including a 15-yarder to Jake Arakelian, and a 56-yard scoring pass to cousin Brayden Kelly. Lucas Garcia and Arakelian each ran for a touchdown, and Byron McCann hit a 25-yard field goal and made all four of his PAT kicks.

Moorestown’s score came from Luke Dengler’s 93 yard kickoff return for a touchdown.

Watchung Hills next plays at Woodbridge on Friday at 6 pm.
