Workers Find Body in Dumpster in Olean

OLEAN, NY- TAPinto Greater Olean has learned that a body was discovered in dumpster at Olean grocery store Friday.

Staff at Jim’s Park and Shop found the body of a man in their dumpster at around 2:30 p.m.

Olean police, fire and an ambulance rushed to the scene within five minutes, according to Jim Mahar, the store’s owner.

Police told staff at the scene that they are investigating.

Olean Police did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
