    Spotswood Recreation Department's Youth Basketball Program Start Pushed Back

    SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Due to conflicts with other sports, the start of the return of the Spotswood Recreation Department's youth basketball program has been delayed. The program now begins on Saturday, October 19 and runs through Saturday, November 30. Games are played from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Memorial Middle School Gymnasium. Practices will also be held at Memorial's gym on Monday or Tuesday evenings. There will be co-ed teams from kindergarten through eighth grade. The cost is $65 for residents and $70 for non-residents. Online registration is open. Participants must register by Monday, September 30. Volunteer coaches are needed for the upcoming fall youth basketball program. Interested volunteers should email the Spotswood Recreation Department at spotswoodrec@spotswoodboro.com.
