At 10:30 a.m., there will be a demonstration in front of the First Presbyterian Church by Elite Toma. At the same time, Zumba with Kelly will take place at the gazebo in front of the library. Also taking place, from then until 2:30 p.m. , will be children's crafts inside the library

Throughout the day, there will be other things to see and at both the Presbyterian and Methodist churches including a craft fair, children's games, a rummage sale, a kids bounce house and a “huge book sale” inside the library, which will also offer minitature golf outside the building.

Food for sale will include hamburgers, hot dogs, empanadas, baged goods, walking tacos, funnel cake, ice cream, coffee and bagels.

Olde Suckasunny Day is scheduled to wrap-up at 3 p.m.

As is the yearly custom, the mayor recently issued a proclamation that noted the event began more than 30 years ago. It explained the name Olde Suckasunny Day is derived from the fact that “the area that makes up the Township of Roxbury was once known as ‘Suckasunny Plains’ back in the 1600s” and notes the first Olde Suckasunny Day was created as a “block party to celebrate the great community in which we live.”
