WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA—Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro was in Warrington earlier this week to tour the township’s new police building.

State Rep. Brian Munroe accompanied Shapiro on the tour of the Easton Road building, which was opened in the fall of 2020. The 18,000-square-foot building has state-of-the-art features like a high-tech prisoner processing center, an in-house training center and a “hoteling” office that allows police to easily collaborate with other agencies.

“Our entire department is grateful for Gov. Shapiro’s visit and his unwavering support for our police and emergency services,” Warrington police Chief Daniel Friel said in a statement. “His presence on Tuesday affirms the hard work and dedication of our officers.”
