RIDGEWOOD, NJ – Junior striker Amanda Thornton scored two goals, converting passes from Alex Donoghue and Abby Droner in Chatham's 2-0 girls soccer win vs. Ridgewood on Friday.

The goals were the first two of the season for the Rutgers commit, who collected 14 goals last season for Chatham (2-1). The shutout was the second of the season for the Cougars' freshman goalie Charlotte Nelson .
