    MONTCLAIR, NJ - The Montclair community is offering a supportive and welcoming environment for individuals experiencing early-stage memory loss or mild cognitive decline, as well as their caregivers, through the “Memory Cafe” program. This dementia-friendly social gathering provides a space for participants to interact, share experiences, and enjoy meaningful connections with others facing similar challenges.

    According to organizers, the Memory Cafe is a safe and comfortable event that fosters socialization and community, helping participants build connections and reduce isolation. Those who attend will have the opportunity to engage in conversation and activities with others who understand their experiences, all while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere.

    Hosted by Lifelong Montclair and Montclair Township, the event will take place on Monday, September 9, from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM  at the Montclair Public Library, 50 Fullerton Ave., Montclair. The event is free and open to the public.
