Fatal Pedestrian Crash Claims Life of Hamilton Man : Investigation Ongoing

HAMILTON, NJ - A 65-year-old Hamilton man was struck and killed by a vehicle while he was walking southbound across Nottigham Way on Friday. According to a statement from the Hamilton Police Division, the incident took place at approximately 9:19 p.m. An initial investigation showed that at that time a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe, driven by a 56-year-old female from Hamilton, was traveling eastbound on Nottingham Way near Klockner Rd. The driver proceeded through the intersection, when she struck the pedestrian. The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. The names of all involved parties have been withheld pending notification to family members. Any witnesses to this collision are asked to contact the police non-emergency number at (609)581-4000 .
