Phillipsburg Band and Cheerleaders Lead the March to the Stadium for Opening Game Against Westfield

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ – The excitement was townwide as the Phillipsburg High School band and cheerleaders kicked off the 2024 football season continuing a tradition, marching from the high school to Maloney Stadium ahead of the highly anticipated opening game against Westfield.

The band played, while the cheerleaders and dance team energized the crowd and neighborhood with their spirited chants and routines. Community members lined the streets to cheer them on, shared on social media, waving flags and showing their support for the Stateliners.

"This march is a time-honored tradition that brings everyone together for opening day," said local residents on Hillcrest Boulevard. "We look forward to following the band to the stadium every year since it began”
