NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. – West Essex scored three goals in the third quarter and went on to a 6-1 field hockey victory over Episcopal Academy on Saturday.

Julia Conforti scored four goals for West Essex (2-0), which opened a 5-1 lead with three unanswered goals in the third quarter.

Adelaide Minnella had two goals and one assist for the Lady Knights. Sophia Sisco assisted on three goals and Tessa Delvescovo also passed for one assist.

Katie Moran of West Essex made seven saves.
