    EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – The East Brunswick football team won its home opener for the first victory in the head coaching career of Matt Pazinko, a 34-14 decision over Hamilton West on Friday night.

    Sean Christie threw touchdown passes to three different receivers and also ran for one TD for East Brunswick (1-1).

    The Bears took a 7-0 lead on Christie's 2-yard run and a point after kick by Noah DeJesus. Christie's 8-yard TD pass to Felix Munoz and another DeJesus PAT gave EB a 14-0 lead before halftime.

    Gabriel Marquez opened the third quarter by returning the kickoff 75 yards for another score as the Bears' lead expanded to 21-0.  Christie connected with Nate Charleston on a 61-yard TD pass and with Ethan Hernandez on a 31-yard TD pass later in the second half.

    The East Brunswick defense limited Hamilton West (0-2) to 169 total yards.
