    Your Best Friend is Welcome on the Beach in Long Branch... Soon

    LONG BRANCH, NJ — The water may be a bit chilly for swimming, but you can soon bring your dog back to the beach in Long Branch.

    Dogs are permitted on municipal public beaches starting on October 1 through April 30, from Seaview to Brighton Avenue.

    Dogs have to be on a leash and owners are responsible for pet waste removal. Dogs are not allowed on the boardwalk or promenade.
