    Chatham Girls Cross-Country Runs to Wins vs. Morristown and Mount Olive in Batch Meet; Grossman, Heflin Place 6th & 11th

    MORRIS PLAINS, NJ – Nicolette Grossman , 6th in 20:53, and Kate Heflin , 11th in 21:27, led the way for the Chatham girl’s cross-country team, which started the dual meet season with wins vs. Morristown (24-35) and Mount Olive (25-30) in a batch meet held Tuesday at Greystone.

    Other Chatham varsity runners who scored for the team were Riley Snarr, Kate McEvoy, Lauren Raunick, Maisie O'Donnell, and Alex Caruso .

    In the JV race athletes that pointed for the team were Jackie Horan, Georgia Young, AJ Christiano, Caroline Molinaro, Caitilin Bastidas, Grace Ryan , and Brooke Thomas .

    Meegan Cary won the novice race in 12:04.  The other finishers placing in the top 10 were Gia DiDonato, Delaney Conover , and Addison McDonough .
