RIDGEWOOD, NJ - The Ridgewood Zoning Board of Adjustment convened Tuesday to discuss and approve several residential building applications throughout the village.

Residents proposed their projects with legal counsel and architects present to answer any questions posed by the board or public. Among the approved projects is the construction of a new two-story addition at 372 Beveridge Rd. creating an expanded living room and home office to accommodate the property owner’s growing family. The board also approved the expansion of a paver patio and the construction of a new in-ground swimming pool, spa, and fence at 264 W. Ridgewood Ave.

Additionally, the board approved the replacement of an existing rock retaining wall with a concrete block retaining wall at 22 Pomander Walk and the construction of a new two-car detached garage to replace a smaller existing garage at 131 Cottage Pl.

The meeting concluded after board members finalized resolutions for previously approved applications, taking the next step in those projects.

The board next meets on Oct. 8 at Village Hall.
