PLAINFIELD, NJ — At Tuesday's Plainfield Board of Education Business Meeting, Plainfield Superintendent of Schools Rashon Hasan took time to recognize the district's many transportation workers.

“ Over the last few years, I think we've done a great job as a school district of trying to bridge the gap and to make sure that our transportation department is really valued, respected, and that our team members know that they are included in everything that we do,” said Superintendent Hasan. “More importantly, they understand that they play one of the more critical roles of any organization or any division within a school district. Because without you, our students cannot get to and from those most critical destinations to be a part of our school community.”
