    Borough of Roselle and Sons Of The American Revolution Hold 105th Anniversary Of The Abraham Clark Monument

    ROSELLE, NJ - The Borough of Roselle, in partnership with the Abraham Clark Chapter 14 of the Sons of the American Revolution, Union County Commissioners, and the Union County Historical Society honored the 105th anniversary of the Abraham Clark Monument on September 14.

    Abraham Clark High School’s JROTC Color Guard started the event off with a presentation of the colors, being piped into position by the Union County Police and Fire Pipe and Drums. Deacon Giovanni Cuzzoil of St. Joseph the Carpenter Church gave the Invocation, followed by the playing of the national anthem performed by members of the Abraham Clark school band.

    A moment of silence was held for the late New Jersey Congressman Donald M. Payne Jr. and Bill Pascrell Jr., followed by speeches from borough and state officials.

    The Sons of the American Revolution presented Roselle Mayor Donald Shaw and New Jersey State Senator Joseph Cryan with Bronze Good Citizenship Medals.

    Following the ceremony, attendees were invited inside the Abraham Clark Memorial House to tour the museum.
