SPARTA, NJ – Sparta girls tennis swept their matches taking the win against Newton 5-0 on Tuesday.

• First Singles: Sara Schwarz 6-0, 6-1
• Second Singles: Julia Miller 6-2, 6-2
• Third Singles: Emily Dondero 6-0, 6-0
• First Doubles: Maureen Gaines and Emilie Fagen 6-1, 6-3
• Second Doubles: Molly Tomko and Sunny Young 6-2, 6-2

Sparta’s record moves to 2-8. They will host Vernon on Friday. The Spartans final games of the regular season will be played on the road.
