    Sparta Boys Soccer Bests Morristown on Tuesday

    SPARTA, NJ – The high school boys soccer squad had success on Tuesday playing on Cassels field beating Morristown 3-1. Andy Parreno led the Spartan’s effort with two goals and an assist.

    Patrick Connors netted one with an assist. Kyle Enderle was also credited with an assist.

    The Spartans held the Minutemen scoreless in the first half, getting one past the Morristown goalie. In the second half Sparta put two more on the board, holding Morristown to a singe goal.

    Sparta’s keeper Evan Miller made six stops. Sparta’s offense tested the Morristown goalie 12 times.

    The boys have a nearly perfect record of 6-0-1 for the season. They will play at Morris Knolls on Saturday morning. The Spartans will be back on Cassels on Tuesday, October 1, hosting Montville. On Thursday they host Pope John.
