MIDDLETOWN, NJ – The Middletown South field hockey team rallied with three unanswered goals in the second half for a 4-2 victory over Ocean Township on Wednesday.

Lauren Vultaggio's goal with 8:02 left in the third quarter tied the game, 2-2.

With 5:27 to go in the fourth quarter, Daniella Cangelosi scored the tiebreaking goal that gave Middletown South (6-1-1) a 3-2 lead. Vultaggio scored with 38 seconds left to make it 4-2.

Avery Lassman also scored a goal for the Eagles, and Cangelosi and Caroline Bedetti had two assists apiece for Middletown South. Molly Kenney and Jaime Kunz also had assists.
