HS Girls Soccer: Minichiello's Goal Lifts Hasbrouck Heights Over Becton

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – Gina Minichiello converted a pass from Ella Perrapato to give Hasbrouck Heights a 1-0 lead in the first half and the  Lady Aviators defense shut down Becton Regional the rest of the way in a NJIC Meadowlands girls soccer game on Wednesday afternoon in East Rutherford.

The goal was Minichiello's eighth of the season, to go along with seven assists for a team-leading 23 points.

Hasbrouck Heights improved to 8-1 overall, 5-0 in the Meadowlands. Becton Regional falls to 4-5 overall and 2-3 with the loss.

Goalkeeper Tessa Reyngoudt made seven saves in picking up the win.
