Summit NJ Football: Oscar Marx Named Salerno Duane Player of the Game

SUMMIT, NJ -- Summit football senior Oscar Marx was named Salerno Duane Player of the Game in the team's win over Carteret, 33-12, on Saturday.

The Hilltopper, who plays at cornerback and wide receiver, scored two touchdowns -- including an 81-yard kickoff return and a 33-yard interception return -- tallied 114 total yards in leading the team.

"Oscar has been a stalwart for us all year,” said Summit Head Coach Kevin Kostibos. “In games when you need a spark, your big-time players make big-time plays. He made two big plays today.  He has proven why he is a next-level player.”
