Newton High School Girls Soccer Shuts Out Lenape Valley on the Road

STANHOPE, NJ—The Newton High School girls soccer team shut out Lenape Valley 2-0 on Monday, September 23 when they played them away.

Braves Sahara Pereira and Vanessa Destefano scored with assists by Emma Eigner and Caitlyn Pokrywa. In the net was Sophia May with 11 saves.

The Braves move their overall record to 4-4-1 and their NJAC-Freedom Division record to 2-2-1. They will host Kittatinny under the lights on Palmer Field on Monday, September 30 beginning at 6 p.m.
