Girls Soccer: Middletown North Beats Freehold Borough, 4-0

MIDDLETOWN, NJ – Sofia Chaknis scored three goals to lead Middletown North to a 4-0 girls soccer victory over Freehold Borough on Thursday.

Chaknis gave Middletown North (4-3) a 1-0 lead six minutes into the game with a goal assisted by Piper Brink.

Brianna Gavini scored in the final minute of the first half with a helper from Chaknis to extend the Lions' lead to 2-0.

Chaknis scored goals in the 53rd and 62nd minutes of the second half, with assists from Ayva Reid and Isabella Chaknis, respectively. Natalie Morford of Middletown North made six saves.
