BORDENTOWN CITY, NJ — The Bordentown Farmer's Market’s 2024 season is in full swing! The Market is back this week on Sunday, September 29.

The Market takes place every Sunday from 9AM to 1PM in the outdoor area of the Carslake Community Center, located at 207 Crosswicks Street in Bordentown City and is scheduled to run through October. In case of rain, the Market moves indoors in the Community Center. Every week, residents and visitors will be able to shop farm fresh produce, local baked goods and more while being treated to live music.

The September 29 food, vendor and organization lineup includes Hlubik Farms, Abe's Acres Farms, Gaston's Bakeshop, Daniela's Heavenly Cakes, Tea For All, Scrumptious Scrubs, Zell's Farm, Pawsitively Organic Dog Bakery, River Horse Brewing Company, K&B Zero Waste, Maam Got Greens, Bordentown Green Team, Kelly Girl Desserts and Pastries, Allentown Farm To Table Meats and Zani's Furry Friends.

Live music will provided by two performers: Between Two Pools, and Colin and Leon.

New to the Farmers Market on September 29 is the fun, eco-friendly Halloween Costume Swap — score a new costume and go green at the same time at this weekend's Market! Did you know that 35 million Halloween costumes are thrown away each year,  and 2,000 tons of plastic goes into landfills? The Costume Swap allows the community to make room for a new costume, refresh a Halloween look without spending a dime, and support Bordentown's green efforts by reducing waste.

Attendees to the September 29 Market can also drop-off dresses for Project Bolsa's Homecoming Dress Swap. Bring your gently used short homecoming dresses — no floor-length or prom dresses, please — to help others refresh their look for the big night.

Project Bolsa's Homecoming Dress Swap will be taking place on October 5 from 12PM to 4PM at 39 Park Street. Instead of spending money on a new dress that will only be worn once, grab one at the swap and shop and re-use it! Those attending can either bring dresses in “exchange” or shop for free.
