    Whippany Park Boys Soccer Beats Sussex Tech in 7-2 Victory

    SUSSEX, NJ -The Whippany Park Wildcats (8-1-1) overpowered Sussex Tech (1-8) with a resounding 7-2 victory in boys soccer last weekend.

    Whippany Park scored three goals in the first period. Brady Rees opened the scoring just minutes into the game with an assist from Conrad Geraghty, giving the Wildcats an early 1-0 lead. Rees followed up with his second goal of the game, this time assisted by Sam Rusin, extending the lead to 2-0.

    Although Sussex Tech briefly rallied with a goal, cutting the deficit to 2-1, Whippany Park responded swiftly as Alec Nielson found the back of the net off a pass from Alex Mosiyash, ending the period with a 3-1 advantage for the Wildcats.

    The second period saw Sussex Tech fight back, with Timmy Pallis scoring a goal assisted by Bradey Patrie, bringing the score to 3-2.  Soon after however, Whippany Park's  Brady Rees completed his hat trick with a third goal, assisted by Alec Nielson, pushing the Wildcats' lead to 4-2.

    The floodgates opened after that, as Youssef Ahmed, assisted by Sam Giraldo, added to Whippany Park’s lead, followed by Rees’ fourth and final goal, courtesy of a pass from Brandon Leone, making it 6-2. Adam Miliziano capped off the scoring for the Wildcats with a late goal, bringing the final score to 7-2.

    Whippany Park’s goalie, Conrad Geraghty recorded five saves on the day.
