Passaic Valley Hornets Dominate Millburn with a 44-8 Victory

MILLBURN, NJ - The Passaic Valley Hornets overwhelmed Millburn on Thursday with a 44-8 victory. With this win, PV improves to 3-1 overall and remains undefeated in the SFC Patriot White division at 2-0. From the outset, the Hornets established their dominance, scoring three touchdowns in the first quarter. Nick Huliev opened the scoring with a 67-yard run, followed by a 50-yard touchdown reception from Dante Benvenuti, courtesy of quarterback Anthony Bagnuolo. Huliev capped off the quarter with another rushing touchdown, putting Passaic Valley ahead 21-0.

The second quarter saw the Hornets continue to capitalize on their momentum. Ralphie Cintron found the end zone with a 16-yard run, and Benvenuti added to the score with a 26-yard field goal, extending Passaic Valley’s lead to 31-0 by halftime. In the third quarter, Bagnuolo connected with Huliev for a 37-yard touchdown pass, pushing the score to 38-0. The Hornets closed out their scoring in the fourth quarter with a 16-yard run from Nate Tedesco. Although Millburn managed to score an 8-yard touchdown late in the game, the outcome was clear, with Passaic Valley finishing strong at 44-8.

On an individual level, Anthony Bagnuolo led the Hornets with 190 passing yards, completing 8 of 10 attempts, including two touchdowns. Nick Huliev dominated the ground game, racking up 103 rushing yards and scoring twice. Dante Benvenuti was the standout receiver, tallying 89 yards and a touchdown while also contributing defensively, leading the team with nine tackles. Richie Breitweiser added a sack, bolstering the Hornets' strong defensive performance.
