    Football: Colonia Rallies to Beat Perth Amboy, 27-20

    COLONIA, NJ -- Colonia rallied from an eight-point second-half deficit for a 27-20 football victory over Perth Amboy on Friday night.

    Kyle Bell's 90-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter and Anthony Garofalo's extra point kick brought the Patriots (4-1) back from a 21-20 deficit.

    Earlier, Colonia had trailed, 21-13, before Dylan Chiera's 20-yard TD pass to Tyler Hermann and Garofalo's PAT made it a one-point game in the third quarter.

    Chiera finished with three touchdown passes. He and Bell combined for a 65-yard pass-and-run for a TD in the first quarter, and Chiera connected with Nygel Hill on a 19-yard TD pass in the second quarter.

    For the game, Chiera was 11-for-23 for 211 yards passing. Bell had 143 yards on 13 carries and 98 yards on two receptions for 241 yards of total offense.

    Lavion Balthazar of Perth Amboy (1-4) was 13-for-21 for 180 yards and two TDs passing and 10-for-85 with another touchdown carrying the ball.

    Colonia will play at Edison on Friday night.
