Football: Sayreville Earns Second Win, Tops North Brunswick, 40-29

NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – It was a career night for RB Shaun Jackson who rushed for six touchdowns and 287 yards on the ground as Sayreville defeated North Brunswich by a score of 40-29.

During the game, the 5-10, 170 lb. junior reached a career milestone: 1,000 rushing yards… and he ain't done yet! This year, he has a total of 663 yards (11 yards per game) and 8 touchdowns to lead the team.

With the win, Sayreville improved to 2-3 on the season. They are 2-0 in the Big Central - National Silver division. Next week, the Bombers will host Piscataway on Friday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m.
