SPARTA, NJ – The Morris Knolls girls soccer team followed practically to the letter the same game plan the boys team used in beating Sparta the morning of Saturday, Sept. 28.

Both Knolls teams won by 3-0 counts – the girls replacing Sparta at the top of the North Jersey Athletic Conference’s American Division by winning their game in Sparta and the boys winning at home at their Denville campus.

Both goaltenders finished with three saves – junior Tariyana Sango for the girls team and junior Angelo D’Asti for the boys. It was Sango’s third shutout of the season while D’Asti registered his first.
