Sparta High School Girls Get a Victory Over Vernon

SPARTA, NJ – The Sparta girls tennis team took a 3-2 victory over Vernon on Friday.

• Second Singles – Julia Miller won 6-2, 6-4
• Third Singles – Emily Dondero won 6-0, 6-0,
• First Doubles – Emilie Fagen and Maureen Gaines won 6-2, 6-2

The second doubles team of Molly Tomko and Sunny Young had a good showing battling to a super tiebreaker where they lost. In their match they went 2-6, 6-3, 7-10.

The girls move their record to 3-8. They travel to Montville on Monday.
