PHILLIPSBURG, NJ – Talk about a great way to get some friendly competition and exercise, the Punt, Pass, Kick (PPK) competition is set to return to the Firth Youth Center on Saturday, October 26, 2024 !
This youth football skills competition has deep roots in American football, dating back to 1961, and has played a pivotal role in fostering the next generation of football players and fans. The event promotes the core values of fair play, skill development, and community engagement.
This year’s PPK event is open to kids ages 9-13 from Phillipsburg and its surrounding districts, providing a fantastic opportunity for local youth to showcase their abilities in punting, passing, and kicking. Never tried it? Many haven’t but still medaled! It’s a great test to see if running and other events are something your kids may enjoy.

The competition features two attempts at each skill—punting, passing, and kicking—on the main field, with trophies and medals awarded to the top place-winners. Participants will also have the chance to compete in a side event: the 40-yard dash , a fan-favorite addition to the competition.

A thrilling 40-yard dash competition, where Jaxon M. clocked in at 4.45 seconds, securing the fastest time of the day.
