    Niche Ranks Millburn High School 1st in Essex County & 13th in NJ

    MILLBURN, NJ – Niche just released its Best High School rankings, and Millburn High School (MHS) was the top public school in Essex County.

    Niche rates high schools in academics, teachers, clubs and activities, diversity, college prep and administration.

    Millburn received an overall grade of A+. Here are the individual grades:

    • A+      Academics
    • A+     Teachers
    • A-      Clubs & Activities
    • A-      Sports
    • B-      Resources & Facilities
    • B        Diversity
    • A+     College Prep
    • A        Administration
    • A        Food

    Niche also revealed that Millburn is ranked 9th out of 418 for the best public high school teachers in NJ and rates 11th in 410 for college prep. MHS is the 13th of the 430 Best Public High Schools in NJ.

    MHS students scored 86% proficiency in math. The average SAT score is 1410, and the average ACT is 31. 38% of students are enrolled in at least one AP class.

    On the top of the Essex County Niche high school list were Northern Valley Regional High School District (number one), and Princeton Public Schools were two.
