Manasquan’s ability to capitalize on penalty corners was a key factor in their victory. The Warriors executed their corner plays with precision, directly leading to most of their goals. Finley O’Neill stood out, leading the offense with two goals and an assist. O'Neill's performance today brings her season tally to 12 goals, 4 assists, and a total of 28 points, further solidifying her role as one of the team’s top players.

The scoring was well-distributed, with contributions from Annie Dettlinger, Calli Matthaei, and Maya Armorelli, each adding a goal. Playmakers Ciara Dunne and Cate Campbell also shined, recording two assists each, while Dettlinger, MacKown, and Madelyn Shlatter contributed additional assists. The balanced attack and unselfish play from all areas of the field showcased the team’s depth and chemistry.

After the game, Coach Toni Bruno gathered the team to celebrate their division title and undefeated run in the B South Shore division. "I’m incredibly proud of the team’s hard work today and all season. They deserved this win," said Bruno, praising her players not only for their on-field performance but also for their dedication throughout the year. Under Bruno’s leadership, the Warriors have consistently performed at a high level, and they appear well-positioned to carry their momentum into the season’s final stretch.

Looking ahead, Manasquan will face Monmouth in an away game on Thursday, October 4th, at 4:00 PM. With only a few games left in the regular season, the Warriors are focused on maintaining their strong form as they gear up for postseason play. Upcoming matchups include a game against Wall on October 7th at 3:45 PM, a home game versus Ocean Township on October 9th, and they will wrap up their regular season with another home game against Trinity Hall on October 16th at 3:45 PM.
