Taste of Berkeley Heights to Showcase Local Restaurants on October 14

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Berkeley Heights Business & Civic will host its first-ever Taste of Berkeley Heights event on Monday, October 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Embassy Suites. Organized by Chairs Chris Wang and Kristina Brusco, the event will bring together over 25 local restaurants, food trucks, and dessert vendors to celebrate the town’s diverse culinary scene.

"This is a great opportunity to highlight the amazing restaurants we have here," said Wang, emphasizing the diversity of the participating establishments, which range from Patria Station’s empanadas to Amerigo’s lasagna and Neelam’s tikka masala.

The event is ticketed at $60 per person, which covers all food tastings. "Once you're in, no need for cash unless you want to purchase an alcoholic beverage," said Wang. The savory dishes will be featured in the Embassy Suites ballroom, while the dessert section will be set up in the Glass House area.

Vegetarian options will also be available, a decision made to ensure the event caters to the town’s diverse dietary preferences. "It was really important to us that everyone feels included," added Brusco, noting that nearly every restaurant has committed to offering a vegetarian dish.
